LORD, GIVE ME THE LOVE WITH WHICH YOU WANT ME TO LOVE!

A short prayer which St. Josemaria told Our Lord Jesus Christ many times during his lifetime which we could pray as well, for the divine call of loving God with a total love and with our entire being can only be achieved through His grace.

We wish to love you Lord with our all but we cannot without your help. Hence, grant us the love with which You want us to love You and our neighbor, including those who hate or offend us. For we want to love you more than a good mother loves her son, much more than an avaricious person loves his gold, and a lot more than we love ourselves.

Mother of Fair Love, pray for us so we may have no other goal in this life than to love and serve God and the people whom He placed near us!
