BEHAVE AS LOVERS OF GOD.

“You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart and your whole soul and your whole mind.” And St Augustine comments: “What is left of your heart for loving yourself? What is left of your soul, of your mind? He says ‘the whole.’ He who made you requires you to give yourself completely.”

After this affirmation of love, we must behave as lovers of God. “In everything we do, let us behave as servants of the Lord.” If you give yourself as he wishes, the influence of grace will be apparent in your professional conduct, in your work, in your effort to divinize human things — be they great or small. For Love gives a new dimension to everything.
