“DO YOU LOVE ME?”
This is the question which Our Lord posed to St. Peter, not only once but thrice, not only to give Him the chance to rectify his triple denial and underline his primacy among the apostles, but also to teach us that Jesus has a heart, both human and divine, and longs for our love and wants to be assured by it (Cf. Jn 21:15–19).
Hence, the question: how often do we tell Our Lord that we love Him?
May we say it often throughout the day:
Lord, I love you. Help me love you more not only in words but also accompanied by deeds.
Mother of Fair Love, help us your children to make Jesus the center of our thoughts, desires, heart, and life!
