SAY MANY ACTS OF LOVE DURING THE DAY.

People in love never get tired of telling and showing their love and affection. Saying acts of love is one way of nourishing and keeping their bond alive and stronger. The same thing is true in our dealings with God. May we keep Him in our mind and heart often during the day, as lovers do and may we tell Him often , in thoughts, words and deeds, that we love Him.

We can make use of what St. Josemaria calls “human devices” to remind us of His presence and spur us to say an act of love. For example, when:
-we see a Crucifix (which we could easily carry in our pocket),
-or an image of Our Lord;
-or when we see a dome of a Church from afar;
-or when we have a difficult moment, perhaps, a headache, a contradiction, an illness, a temptation…

All these could help us be united with Our Lord during the day and grow in our love for Him, and if we are coherent, for others as well.
