MORNING CONSECRATION TO MARY:
“MY QUEEN AND MY MOTHER”.
My Queen and my Mother,
I give myself entirely to you;
and to show my devotion to you,
I consecrate to you this day
my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart,
my whole being without reserve.
Wherefore, good Mother,
as I am your own,
keep me, guard me,
as your property and possession.
Amen.
MAKE IT A GOOD HABIT TO KISS YOUR MOM AND
ASK HER HELP TO LOVE JESUS EVERY MORNING!
I remember that when I was just a chubby kid, 5-years old perhaps, everytime I woke up early, the first thing I did was to go to my parent’s bedroom. There, I always found my mother, seated on the bed, in front of her small altar, saying her morning prayers. I always give her my morning kiss then seat beside her, lean my head onto her shoulders and pray with her… even just for a short while…and off I go to play… 😀
WE, TOO, HAVE OUR MOTHER IN HEAVEN, THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY. Remember how Our Lord on the Cross, gave her to us to be our Mother? Our Mother Mary loves us more than all the mothers in the world together, as St. Josemaria once said, and among all creatures, she was the one who loved our Lord Jesus Christ most and in the best way possible…
WHY NOT BEGIN OUR DAY GIVING HER A KISS? PRAY TO HER AND PRAY WITH HER, SO THAT SHE COULD TEACH US TO LOVE JESUS THE WAY SHE DID: and, with her, tell Our Lord how much we love Him and how much we desire to make Him happy during the day, with her help and good counsel.
Mother of Good Counsel, our Mother, pray for your children so that we may never let go of Jesus throughout the day in our words, thoughts and actions, and through them He may be praised and glorified.
