A LENTEN PRAYER TO
OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP.
Mother of Perpetual Help,
you have always been a good mother to us,
overseeing our material and spiritual well-being.
Pray for a spiritually fruitful Lent for us and for many souls.
Help us take advantage of God’s Lenten graces and invitation
to purify our heart and soul, through the Sacrament of Confession.
Help us grow in our love for God,
manifested as well in our love for our neighbor,
and in our daily struggle to separate ourselves
from those which separate us from God and from others.
Through your prayers and motherly concern,
may we embark and persevere
on the path of authentic and profound daily conversion
so as to find our real joy in and with God,
the Most Holy Trinity, in this life and in the next. Amen.
