Pope Francis appeals to his captors.
Last Sunday, April 10, 2016, Pope Francis prayed for Fr. Tom and made a desperate appeal to his captors: ““In the hope that the Risen Christ gives us, I renew my call for the liberation of all people held hostage in zones of armed conflict. In particular, I want to recall the Salesian priest Tom Uzhunnalil, kidnapped in Aden, in Yemen, last March 4,” the Pope said at the end of the midday Regina Caeli,”
Dear brethren in Christ, let us keep on praying for Fr. Tom’s release. St. John Bosco and Martyrs of Yemen, intercede for Fr. Tom’s immediate release. Amen.
