ACT OF REPARATION TO JESUS IN THE MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT
An Act of Reparation to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament
Jesus, my God, my Savior, true God and true Man, with that most profound homage with
which the faith itself inspires me, I adore and love you with my whole heart, enclosed in the
most august Sacrament of the Altar, in reparation for all the acts of irreverence, profanation,
and sacrilege committed. Jesus, my God, my all , I adore you, I love you, and I praise you
every moment, in the most holy and divine Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.
I adore you every moment, O living Bread of Heaven, Great Sacrament!
Litany of Reparation in Honour of the Blessed Sacrament
Lord, have mercy on us; Lord, have mercy on us
Christ, have mercy on us; Christ, have mercy on us
Lord, have mercy on us; Lord, have mercy on us
God the Father of Mercy, have mercy on us.
God the Son, Mediator between God and man, have mercy on us.
God the Holy Spirit, the Enlightener of hearts, have mercy on us.
Holy and undivided Trinity, have mercy on us.
O Sacred Host! Victim of reparation for the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
O Sacred Host! Annihilated on the altar for us and by us, have mercy on us.
O Sacred Host! Despised and neglected, have mercy on us.
O Sacred Host! Neglected and abandoned in you churches, have mercy on us.
Be merciful unto us: Spare us, O Lord.
Be merciful unto us: Hear us, O Lord.
–– For the sacrileges, profanation, thefts and blasphemies against the Holy Eucharist,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
–– For the lack of respect and impiety in the churches and before the Tabernacle,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For the neglect, abandonment and ceasing to attend Sunday Holy Mass,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For the refusal of so many baptized Catholics to go to confession and and receive Holy Communion during Easter,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For the lack of concern of relatives of dying people allowing them to die without the reception of the sacraments,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For the lack of concern of parents regarding the reception of first Holy Communion of their children,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For the lukewarm and cold Communions,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For sacrilegious Communions,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For priests who celebrate the Holy Mass in inappropriate personal conditions, or for teaching a liturgical and Eucharistic life contrary to that mandated by the Church,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For combining Holy Mass and Holy Communion with incoherent lives devoid of fervor,
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
– For the systematic, violent or devious persecution of priests and laity who profess their faith in Christ.
Forgive us, Lord, forgive us.
That you may spare us, that you hear us, we sinners beseech you, hear us.
That you will make known your love for us in this most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, we
sinners beseech you, hear us.
That you may accept our reparation, made in the spirit of humility, we sinners beseech you,
hear us.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world: Spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world: Hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world: Have mercy on us, O Lord.
Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, who has chosen to expose yourself to all the outrages of the impious, rather than
withdraw your Sacred Body from our Churches, grant us the grace to lament, with true
bitterness of heart, the sacrileges committed against you in the Most Holy Sacrament of the
Eucharist, and to repair as far as lies in our power, and with sincere love, the many
humiliations and disrespects that you have received, in this ineffable mystery, you, who lives
and reigns with God, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen.
