A PRAYER FOR COVID-19 PANDEMIC

God the Father Almighty,
through the merits of the Passion and Death
of Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in unity with the Holy Spirit,
and through the intercession of the
Blessed Virgin Mary,
St. Joseph, and all the Angels and saints,

We come to You in our need
to ask Your help and protection against the COVID-19
that has claimed so many lives
and has caused a lot of suffering in the world.

We plead you to enlighten
the people tasked in finding a vaccine for the disease.

We implore your protection for all the frontliners, healthcare workers, and service-providers who minister to the sick with compassion and selflessness, and to the society.

We humbly ask for the recovery of many sick, especially those who are seriously ill, for your honor and glory, and for the sake of their suffering families.

We pray for all those who are suffering so that they may find help and relief. And we beseech you for the salvation of the dying and the eternal repose of the faithful departed.

Grant wisdom to all those who govern so that they may honestly and wisely employ all the means to curb the disease and help their constituents with integrity.

Give us the generosity and kindness
to work for the good of all
and to help those in need during this pandemic. 

We accept your Most Holy Will,
but at the same time, plead for your mercy and compassion,
convinced that You can do all things,
and nothing is impossible to You.
In your hands we abandon all our concerns.
In You we trust and hope
that You Will hear the prayers of your children.

Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son
who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God forever and ever. Amen.
