JUNE 29: ST. PAUL’S OPERATIVE FAITH
AND INTERIOR STRUGGLE TO DO GOD’S WILL.

Happy Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul!

St. Paul’s life, Apostle of the Gentiles, is a clear example for us of God’s mercy, man’s misery and at the same time, of the latter’s generous correspondence to God’s grace of conversion and call to FAITH AND GOOD WORKS.

Paul’s faith was OPERATIVE: it was demonstrated through deeds, stemming from his love for God and at the same time convinced that this was possible through the help of God’s grace.

With St. Paul, let us then with the help of God’s grace, keep on running this divine race on earth towards our eternal destiny to which God calls us.

Mother Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us!
Fr. Rolly A, priest of Opus Dei.
